Description To provide specialist support to the business unit in the execution of the Data Quality policies and standards aligned to the business unit strategyManages the evolution and transition of the data quality strategy and architecture in response to changing business requirementsImplement Records Management standards and processes.Define and implement a Records Management operating model and governance frameworkImplement strategic projects and initiatives relating to the adoption of electronic recordkeeping practicesUnderstand the business unit strategy as well as business requirements from a records Management perspectiveDefine and implement a Record Management solution that will host retention policies, schedules, and business rulesAssess current records management practices, and establish and implement best practicesIntegrate Records Management into other Information Management capabilities.Design and setup the Records Management reporting and analysis capabilityManage people by executing management responsibilities and create an environment that encourages employee growth and performance excellencePrevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs.Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards.Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships that enable achievement of operational objectives.Take all necessary actions to ensure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements in area of accountability.Ensure implementation of relevant policies, governance and practice standards across the business.Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and business's internal compliance procedures and requirements.Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own and employee developmentBuild working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration, and innovation Qualifications and Experience A minimum of 3 - 5 Years experience in a Data\Information Management environmentBachelor's Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7), preferably in Information Systems; IT Business Management, Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplinesProficiency in MS Office or similar toolsUnderstanding of the DAMA Principles.
Certification from Data Management Association, namely Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) – Level 1 or higher, will be an added advantage.Proven knowledge and experience in Document and Content ManagementDemonstrates knowledge of records lifecycle, and applicable policies, regulations, and frameworks and procedures, data privacy issues, and data managementExposure and/or involvement in the implementation of Content, Document and Records management solutions, such as SharePoint, among others,Exposure and /or involvement in the implementation of data privacy laws (POPIA and related regulatory frameworks)General understanding of the master and reference data management disciplineRelevant and current best practices in records management, records management and information management.#POST#FNB#LI-KM3Job DetailsApplication Closing Date25/09/24All appointments will be made in line with FirstRand Group's Employment Equity plan.
