Job Description The ideal team player will be responsible to ensure a professional reception function in order to deliver an effective service to external and internal customers and convey a positive image of the business.
Requirements Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent. Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., scanners/ printers). Telephone etiquette experience. Customer service experience. Clear Criminal Record. Duties and Responsibilities Handle all incoming calls, take messages and direct to relevant personnel. Be the first face of the business for customers, clients, and visitors to be directed to relevant departments. Notify relevant personnel of visitors' arrival. Direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories. Keep a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations (clean desk policy). Make appointments and keep a schedule for the use of the boardroom and meetings. Ensure that guests are always accompanied for safety purposes. Be an ambassador and a good team player.
