Quantity Surveyor - Construction - Easten Cape

Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable construction company located in the Eastern Cape.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in managing and controlling costs for construction projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities: Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for various construction projects.
Monitoring project expenditures and providing financial reporting to ensure compliance with budgets.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects to manage project scope and costs effectively.
Preparing and analyzing tender documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
Managing the procurement of materials and subcontractors to ensure value for money.
Assisting in contract negotiations and preparing final accounts for projects.
Identifying, assessing, and managing financial risks associated with construction projects.
Conducting site visits to evaluate progress and ensure alignment with project specifications.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
Proficiency in estimating and quantity surveying software, such as CCS, CostX, or similar.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
A proven track record of managing project budgets and timelines.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
