Professional Construction Manager JobOur client, a leading South African engineering consultancy, is seeking a skilled Professional Construction Manager to oversee water abstraction and pipeline projects in Johannesburg. You'll manage key infrastructure works.If you're ready to lead impactful water infrastructure projects and work with a dynamic team, this is the role for you!RequirementsBetween 10 and 20 years of experience in construction management and as a Resident Engineer.Professional registration with ECSA and/or SACPCMP.Proven experience in managing FIDIC-based construction projects.A solid technical foundation in water infrastructure construction engineering.Duties include but are not limited to:Lead and oversee the entire construction process for water abstraction weir and pipeline projects, managing all phases from initiation through to final handover.Coordinate and supervise construction activities to ensure that risks related to claims are effectively managed, and any potential disputes are resolved swiftly and amicably.Collaborate with architects, design engineers, and project managers to ensure that projects are designed with practical construction requirements in mind, ensuring safe and efficient implementation.Correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates.
