Vacancy: Production ManagerA vacancy exists for a production manager who has experience in the FMCG/perishable/frozen manufacturing environment. This candidate will lead 7 direct reports across all disciplines and have commercial decision-making abilities. Knowledge of NPD and QC is essential.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSee Desired Experience and QualificationsDesired Experience & QualificationRequirements:Suitable tertiary education for a production/management roleMinimum 5 years production management experience in an FMCG/perishable/frozen manufacturing environmentAbility to manage people including 7 direct reports and 450 indirect reportsDecision maker and problem solverUnderstanding of the BCEA and Labour relations, including dealing with trade unionsGeneral commercial decision-making abilitiesExperience in optimizing production processesSage X3 or similar ERP system experience specifically around stock management and controlStock take management abilities in an ERP environmentCapex management and controlExperience interacting with retail customer base at NPD and production levelKnowledge of NPD and QC processOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Package & RemunerationR70-R75k CTC/mth
