Production Manager

We are currently seeking a dynamic Production Manager to join a leading manufacturing organization in Maitland, Cape Town. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing departmental production in alignment with annual budgets and company policies, ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Requirements:A production or engineering-related qualificationGrade 12 with MathematicsMinimum of 5 years production experience, with at least 3 years in a management capacityExperience in Impregnation, Stenter environment, or Wet ProcessingSolid understanding of ISO Quality Management Systems and Health & Safety protocols Key Skills and Competencies:Strong leadership and communication abilitiesProven track record in production management within a manufacturing settingTechnical proficiency in both chemical and mechanical processesAbility to drive process improvements and manage complex production environmentsExceptional attention to detail and adherence to deadlines Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day operations of the production unitAchieve production targets and cost efficiencies as per annual budgetsMentor and coach junior management to optimize operational performanceEnsure compliance with quality objectives and regulatory standardsImplement and monitor inventory controls and stock management practicesMaintain a safe working environment in accordance with OHS Act and company standards
