Procurement Specialist

Ensuring the supply chain needs (procurement) are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for developing relationships with vendors and suppliers by continuously offering suggestions on products.
You will be responsible for:

Managing the inflow of products and liaising with the sales team regarding stock.
Detailed analysis of imports and exports.
Implementing trading agreements re shipping, quality and payment terms.
Participation in contract agreements.
Develop preferred relationships with suppliers

Qualifications and further requirements

Relevant Degree
Strong mathematical, analytical and organizational skills
Strong negotiation skills
Proficient with Microsoft packages & systems-driven
Ability to understand budgets, procurement strategies & forecasting
Strong understanding of both local and regional supply and demand
