Principal Civil Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Principal Civil Engineer to lead their team in the planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the field of civil engineering, with a strong emphasis on municipal services.
What you will do: · Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians in the planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure projects, including water supply, wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and road infrastructure.
· Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
· Oversee the procurement process for materials and services.
· Administer contracts and manage project budgets.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
· Provide technical support to clients and stakeholders.
· Prepare reports and presentations on project progress and outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience: · Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
· Professional registration as a Civil Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
· Minimum of 15 years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure projects.
· Strong leadership and management skills.
