About the Role:
The Pool Supervisor must effectively coordinate and supervise the operation of the Pool or any other supported areas.
The role also serves the pool staff and leads the team to provide an exception guest experience according to Four Seasons standards.
What you will do:
Ensure service procedures and standards are being executed by all pool staff
Supervise the consistency of quality of food and efficiency of service
Interview and select job applicants as well as supervise, discipline and give performance evaluations for pool employees
Schedule staff and complete payroll records in accordance with budgeted guidelines
Work closely with Engineering to maintain proper water quality and mechanical operation of the swimming and whirl pools
Order supplies, including bathing suits, toiletries and other amenities to ensure the Poolside par level allow for smooth operation
Coordinate personal training with outside contractors to guarantee a high level of service and adequate availability
Oversee the cleanliness and equipment operations of the fitness area, pool deck, patio terrace and bartenders and cabana area and ensure their conditions are in accordance to health department regulations.
Address any concerns and coordinate special requirements with Housekeeping, Laundry, Stewarding and Engineering.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff
Utilize all computer systems relevant to departments and maintain communication between staff members and managers.
Participate in regular staff meetings to keep employees informed of hotel policies and changes as well as ways to increase sales and service.
Assume duties of the Assistant Manager when they are off/vacation
What you Bring:
High reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Previous supervisory or management experience in Food and Beverage
College degree or equivalent preferred.
