Policy Administrator

An exciting opportunity for a Policy Administrator has become available with our client. They are underwriting managing Agency specializing in mobile device, motor, pet and digital device insurance. We are fast expanding and looking for a technically savvy, peoples person to join our team in the underwriting department based in Granger Bay (Cape Town). This position reports to the Policy Administration Manager. Job Purpose: To handle Policy Administrator functions through accurate, efficient, timeous processing of proposal forms and policy administration, and handling of broker and client queries within various SLAS, SOPS and turnaround times Qualification and Competency Requirements NQF4/Grade 12 Certificate RE5 and FAIS Compliance advantageous Minimum 2yrs financial service experience Intermediate Computer Skills Key Skills: Accuracy and quality processing and interactions Adherence to SLA and Company S.O.P terms and conditions Well versed in Business English (written and verbal) Communicates clearly and reasons logically. Customer Service Orientation Operates as a team player. Prioritises, follow-up and orders work in a methodical manner. Conscientious - meets deadlines and pays attention to detail to ensure quality. Displays integrity and honesty. Is meticulous and organised. Able to deal with time pressure and maintains a level head.
