Job detailsHere's how the job details align with your profile.PayR7000 - R15000 a monthJob typeFull-timeLocationAlberton, GautengFull job descriptionResponsibilities include:Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures (such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters) in commercial and residential structures.Cut holes to accommodate pipes and fittings.Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes in place.Join pipes with couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, or cement.Inspect and test pipes for leaks.Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.Perform preventive maintenance to gas outlets, fire suppression sprinkler systems, lawn sprinklers, plumbing fixtures, etc.Attend residential, commercial, and industrial settings to solve plumbing or drain service issues.Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers.Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other professionals during construction.Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems, identifying and diagnosing plumbing problems using appropriate tools and techniques.Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.Adhere to all plumbing building codes and regulations.Ensure all work meets safety standards and follows best practices.
