Job detailsHere's how the job details align with your profile.PayR4000 - R5000 a monthJob typeFull-timeLocationAlberton, GautengFull job descriptionDay to day responsibilitiesGeneral assistance to the plumber for all types of plumbing work, including assisting with installations, inspections, diagnosing problems/faults/leaks, testing, repair, and maintenance of pipes, fixtures, and other water and plumbing systems.Assisting in general plumbing work and preparation as directed.As directed by the Line Manager, assist with storage, lifting, fetching supplies, unloading, and checking deliveries.Undertaking tasks to assist the plumber generally.Assisting to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair to ensure compliance with agreed codes, laws, working practices, and health and safety.Liaising with the Line Manager and other site workers, performing jobs as required in accordance with contract/agreed requirements and within agreed time limits.Working using your own initiative within agreed roles – do not wait to be asked!Ensuring compliance with agreed codes, legislation, and procedures, including health and safety.Maintaining accurate worksheets and records/documentation associated with your work.Reporting to the plumber.Immediately reporting problems/failures that may impact the organization and/or its clients/customers or that may affect health and safety to the Line Manager.Meeting your targets and contributing to those of the team as a whole.Contributing towards the smooth running of the team.Adhering to all organization policies and procedures, including those relating to hygiene, respect for other team members, timekeeping, and flexibility.
