Fantastic opportunity to join a respected investment group's shared services team as their Payroll & Talent Reporting Analyst. This exciting new role works closely with the Head of Shared Services and calls for your strong knowledge of payroll processes and employee reporting. If automation and enhancing employee reporting excites you, and you are passionate about people data, then this is for you. This role will overs all payroll processes, and people data reporting. You will need strong payroll systems experience as well as strong HR reporting skills.Responsibilities:Ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees and all aspects of the payroll processEnsuring compliance with regulations and legislationsPayroll systems and processes understanding and assist with enhancements as requiredWork with the talent team, finance team and payroll administrator to maintain accurate employee dataMonthly reconciliations between finance accounting and payroll recordsMonthly analysis of payroll movements for management accountsOversight of payroll records, reports, and documentation for auditing and legal purposes.Payroll audit key point of contactWorkmen's compensation regulatory requirementsKeep update on any payroll regulation or law updates, ensuring updates are implemented and best payroll practice is adhered toProduce accurate and high quality monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports on various employee data and assist on all related ad hoc HR, Talent reports around payroll such as benefits etc.Requirements:Minimum of a completed tertiary qualification with a preference to postgraduate / CA(SA) / CIMA qualified candidatesMinimum 4 years experience in a similar role working with payroll, employee reporting and HR systemsStrong knowledge of payroll systems and process and related accounting principlesExposure to SAGE people or related would be an advantageMust be systems orientated and a keen eye for enhancementsHigh levels of discretion and integrityProactive and hard workingHigh attention to detailSelf-motivated and drivenProactive and positive team playerNaturally curious with excellent numerical and analytical skillsPlease note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
