With 109 manufacturing sites and 12,000+ employees, we are the Global #1 for prime labels.The purpose of the Payroll Specialist is to ensure that the monthly payrun is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with statutory regulations. This role involves running the payroll function across multiple companies (approx. 400 employees, 3 companies in South Africa) and overseeing 3rd party payroll processing in Tanzania and Kenya.The RoleIn this exciting and varied role, you will:Administer, process, capture, and check monthly payrollsIntegrate with the finance team for monthly and ad-hoc reporting purposesLiaise with management and staff regarding pay queriesProcess payment and reconciliation of overtime, travel, and other allowancesAssist with SARS eFiling, UIF, EMP201 & EMP501 returnsMaintain the structure and integrity of the payroll systemEnsure maintenance of staff records including archiving and filingOversee and check 3rd party payroll in Tanzania and KenyaThe PersonTo succeed in this role you will:Matric (essential)A payroll diploma/degree or certified qualification (preferred)A national diploma in Human Resources Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field (advantageous)Certification in Payroll (e.g. Certified Payroll Professional, CPP)Experience with payroll processingBasic knowledge of labour laws and regulationsProven experience as a payroll administrator or in a similar roleProficiency with payroll software and MS Office, particularly ExcelProficiency with Sage Payroll Professional (Premier)Strong understanding of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and compliance requirementsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationStrong organisational and time management skillsEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenHigh integrity and sensitivity to confidential informationWhy Multi-Color?You will work in our modern manufacturing facilities, at the cutting-edge of production-environment innovation; we challenge the status quo and are transforming operations every day.You will gain experience in a fast-paced environment, with an ambitious team; we look forward and continuously improve to be the best we can; we have a strong drive for results.You will be part of a team that shares our values of integrity, passion, perseverance, creativity, and achievement; we value, respect, and champion diversity.You will join a global and diverse organization that collaborates effectively to find optimal solutions; we focus on our customers and work with them on every step of their journey with us.You will be part of a team that strives for global sustainability, playing our part in making the world a better place for future generations.Diversity & InclusionAt MCC, we believe what makes us unique makes us better.
