QUALIFICATIONS:At least 3 years extensive experience in Payroll AdministrationExcellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and other applications such as Sage software Sage 300 People systemAdvance Excel Vlookup and Pivot tablesPayroll Management: Salaries and BenefitsPeople Payroll ReconciliationIn-depth knowledge of relevant legislationValid Driver's License & Own Transportation   Responsible for the preparation and processing of the monthly payrollReview and ensure accuracy of approved advances, travel, and overtime claimsCommunicate payroll stats to Payroll Manager as well as any concerns and recommendationsProcessing of timesheets & hours (T&A)Ensuring employees are paid correctly and on timeMonthly payroll auditsEnsuring compliance with SARS – PAYE, UIF, ETI, Provident Fund & SDLCompile and maintain all payroll policies and proceduresCoordinating efforts between the payroll department and other departments such as the human resources and finance department in order to ensureaccurate dataEnsuring maximum compliance with legislation, acts and regulationsEnsuring prompt update of all software for accurate payroll processing and administrationEnsuring the updating of the organization's payroll proceduresUpdating reports, salary sheets and schedulesCompleting any additional tasks as assigned by direct line managerD
