Payroll Administrators are responsible for the upkeep and management of a company's payroll. They calculate wages and ensure that employees' salaries get paid correctly and on schedule.
Minimum requirements (Qualifications and Experience)
At least 2 – 3 years strong payroll admin experience, attention to detail as well as demonstrated Excel experience
Key Responsibilities Load new employees and employee information on the payroll system (PeopleWare) accurately and timeously.Collect, calculate, and enter all input documentation / data such as leave, overtime, training attendance records etc., check accuracy, clarify queries and capture onto the payroll system.Provide Supervisors & Managers with information related to employees' leave, overtime and training records on the payroll system.Maintain, monitor, and review information on the payroll system to ensure all information is accurate and up to date.Investigate, report and correct payroll discrepancies and errors.Prepare Payroll Variance Report in excelPrepare Full Payroll Report monthly and reconcile headcounts with Payroll Manager.Liaise with the different managers to ensure branch salaries are completed timeously and accurately and all statutory obligations in the different countries are complied withProcess payroll input via batch transactions.Maintain filing system by filing all leave forms, training attendance records and clinic records as required and keep employees' personal files up to date in line with audit requirements.Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees and management.Liaise with Time and Attendance and compare information captured on the time and attendance systems with the payroll system.Assist with any other time and attendance processing and duties, as and when required.File all input documentation.Assist Payroll Manager in reviewing and checking new employee documentation.Deal with ESS queries from employeesProject managementGood numerical skillsFinancial report writingAnalytical skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsUnderstanding and appreciation of processes, procedures, rules, and systemEffective oral and written communication skillsSelf-motivationAbility to work under pressure, maintaining accuracy whilst achieving timescales.
