Minimum requirements for the role:Must have a degree in law, legal studies, or a related fieldParalegal certification or equivalent legal qualification is advantageousPrevious experience as a paralegal in residential property or conveyancing is essentialFamiliarity with the conveyancing process and residential property law in the assigned jurisdiction is requiredProficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office SuiteMust have strong drafting skills with attention to detail in legal documentationExcellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear and concise mannerAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficientlyMust have strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solvingMust be able and willing to work UK office hoursThe successful candidate will be responsible for:Assisting in the management of residential property transactions from inception to completion.Preparing, reviewing, and managing legal documents related to residential property sales, purchases, and leases, including contracts, transfers, and mortgage documents.Conducting due diligence, including reviewing title deeds, conducting searches, and liaising with relevant authorities.Drafting correspondence and reports to clients, lenders, and other stakeholders.Liaising directly with clients, providing regular updates on the progress of their transactions.Responding to client inquiries and resolving issues related to residential property matters promptly.Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) requirements.Identifying and mitigating potential risks in property transactions.Maintaining and organizing case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.Coordinating and scheduling meetings, client consultations, and property viewings.Assisting with billing, invoicing, and other financial tasks as needed.Working closely with solicitors, conveyancers, and other legal professionals to ensure seamless transaction processing.Coordinating with external parties such as estate agents, mortgage brokers, and surveyors.Please note that subsequent to the screening and shortlisting process, all further communication will be entered into, only with the shortlisted candidates
