QualificationMatric and at least a T3 or N5 qualificationRequirementsMinimum 5 years experience in the production environment including operations, maintenance, food safety, procurement and health & safetyMust be technically orientated and qualified and a hands-on personAutomated extrusion plant requires basic knowledge of PLC inputsMust have a good understanding of MS ExcelExperience in overseeing raw material stock levels considering lead times ito raw materials, finished goodsGood knowledge of the OHSAct and Regulations, safety and environmental managementMust accept appointments as GMR2.1 responsible person in charge of the safe operation of machineryDutiesPlanning and procurement of production related inputsIntroducing and managing operational processes for optimum production outputsProduct quality control and managementMaintaining GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) standardsSupervising of production staffSupervising and maintenance of production assetsSupervising of sales related documentation and dispatch of goods soldSupervising of all safety protocols and elements
