Operations Manager

We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Johannesburg Role : Operations Manager Industry : Renewable Energy (Solar PV) Level : Mid-Senior Level Key Requirements: Tertiary qualification 3 years experience in operations management, ideally within solar, renewable energy, or electrical contracting industries. Proven track record managing residential, commercial, and agricultural solar installation projects. Strong understanding of solar PV systems and electrical installations. Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar). Familiarity with inventory management systems and supply chain processes. Experience overseeing and leading internal and external teams, managing performance, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and tracking project costs. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. Personal Attributes: Results-driven with a focus on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage resources, materials, and schedules effectively. Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to anticipate challenges and resolve issues swiftly. A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment.
