We help forward-thinking clients solve problems and improve operations.ProSidian Seeks a Oil and Gas (Petroleum) Fiscal/Economic Modeler / Revenue Specialist (541690 Contract Contingent) located in Cape Town South Africa to support an engagement for U.S. Govt. International Technical Assistance Program (ITAP) providing assistance on technical, regulatory, environmental, and financial management for national development on a range of energy and non-energy resources.Key Responsibilities:Serve as leading Oil and Gas industry adviser to regulated businesses, economic regulators, law firms and investors internationally.Provide critical insight and expert reports in the context of periodic regulatory reviews, strategic decision-making, public policy debates, M&A transactions and competition cases.Perform financial modeling and valuation of energy assets and support regulatory and M&A due diligence.Design price controls and regulatory frameworks based on established and planned regulatory and commercial strategy.Analyze and prepare formal written reports and presentations related to Oil and Gas industry Economic Models and Revenue forecasts.Research and gather information, manage and carry out quantitative, industry and market analysis, and report findings clearly.Develop and apply bespoke approaches to solve complex, unstructured problems.Collaborate with analysts working on other modeling teams to relate inputs and outputs across models.Minimum Requirements:Minimum of Ten (10) years of consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities.Bachelor's Degree in math, economics, finance, statistics, computer science or another relevant discipline; advanced degree preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools.Experience with equilibrium-based modeling approaches and familiarity with programming skills relevant to model development.Additional Information:ProSidian Consulting is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, or veteran status.
