JOB PROFILE DURATION: Twenty Four (24) Months Fixed Contract

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To lead, plan, manage, monitor and evaluate Seda provincial network operations in delivering support services to Small Enterprises in line with Seda strategy and policies.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Manage the Provincial network and provide leadership, direction, support and advice to the Provincial network.Develop strategic alliances and partnerships with all relevant stakeholders and effectively communicate with media in order to promote and advance the Seda vision, mission and mandate.Infrastructure Management.People Management.REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION: Matric (NQF Level 4) and Bachelor Degree plus Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) or Post Graduate Diploma (NQF Level 8) in Operational Management or Business Administration.Master's Degree (NQF Level 9) as added advantage.REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE: 8 -10 years work experience in Operations Management of which at least 5 years must have been in a management position.Knowledge and understanding of all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to SMME development.Knowledge of the PFMA and Procurement related policies.Knowledge and understanding of communications and stakeholder management requirements and processes.Programme and Project management experience.CRITICAL COMPETENCIES: Strategic Capability.Managing a Team.Coaching & Mentoring.Change Management.Policy Development & Adherence.Political Awareness.Advisory Service.Communication.Stakeholder Engagement.Analytical.Business Acumen.Problem-Solving & Decision-Making.Planning & Organising.Monitoring & Evaluation.Performance Driven.Team Work.Adaptability & Flexibility.Policy Adherence.Negotiation.NOTE: It is the organization's intention to promote equity and representivity in terms of race, gender and people living with disability as per the set numerical targets contained in the organizational Employment Equity Plan (EE Plan).
