The successful candidate will work alongside cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency, optimize equipment, and ensure safety standards are met.Key Responsibilities:Design and Maintain Equipment:Design and optimize mechanical systems, including crushers, mills, conveyors, and separation equipment used in mineral processing.Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical systems to minimize downtime.Process Optimization:Collaborate with process engineers to optimize plant operations and improve recovery rates and efficiency.Implement engineering solutions to reduce operational costs and increase throughput.Project Management:Oversee mechanical installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.Manage projects from conceptual design to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.Safety and Compliance:Ensure that all mechanical operations adhere to industry safety standards and environmental regulations.Conduct risk assessments and recommend safety improvements to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.Continuous Improvement:Work on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance.Research and implement new technologies and practices to increase system efficiency and reliability.Qualifications & Experience:Education:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
