Mep Draughtsman (Electrical)

Responsibilities Work with Electrical Systems Engineers and Technicians on projects to produce detailed electrical and civils drawings. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software. Knowledge and experience with industrial electrical equipment. Understanding of electrical circuitry and designs. Create drawings for wiring systems, circuit layouts, and general assembly diagrams. Develop PID drawing packages. Ensure drawings meet IEC standards and comply with SOPs and ISO documentation. Enforce the use of IEC drawing standards and maintain drawing structures and borders. Attend drawing reviews and update revisions and corrections as needed. Control access to engineering drawing tools to prevent misuse or maladministration. Manage indexing and archiving of drawings. Maintain up-to-date symbol libraries and project folders. Designs in Revit MEP & AutoCAD Exposure to BIM would be an advantage Requirements Draughting diploma required. Must have a multi-disciplinary Draughting National certificate. Electrical trade test beneficial.
