We are currently seeking a Manager: Technology Asset Management
Role Overview: Lead the management of technology assets throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal, while developing and implementing policies and strategies to ensure optimal utilization and compliance. Oversee procurement, vendor relationships, and cost control efforts to enhance asset performance and return on investment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire lifecycle of technology assets, including hardware, software, and IT infrastructure, from acquisition through to disposal, while developing and implementing asset management policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure effective utilization and compliance.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all technology assets, including detailed records of specifications, locations, and ownership, while conducting regular audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Manage the procurement process for technology assets by evaluating and selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and overseeing purchase orders, while also monitoring and controlling costs, managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Analyze asset utilization data to ensure optimal performance and identify underutilized or redundant assets, and implement strategies to enhance asset performance, extend lifecycle, and improve return on investment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
5-8 years with 5 years of experience in IT asset management and at least 3 years in a senior role
Specific & Business Knowledge Required:
Commercial Acumen & Intelligence; Communication & Presentation Skills; Financial Analysis, Planning & Budgeting; IT Infrastructure
Understanding of Business domain, Business strategy and Long-Term Objectives
