Management of Personnel to reduce facility downtime and improve stability.Plan and Manage Planned maintenance activities.Manage Shift's timekeeping to support required activities.Manage overtime according to plant requirements.Control Maintenance budget and make requisitions for Consumables & Spare parts to meet plant targets.Lead, motivate, and coach artisans to achieve departmental/organizational goals and objectives.Conduct employee appraisal in accordance with HR standards and guidelines.Conduct disciplinary process of sub-ordinates with HR standard and guidelines.Manage member planned maintenance and facility device skills development.Ensure that Kaizens (Improvements) are investigated, and take action to achieve plant targets.Create work activities to Rectify Facility EHS and Legal Non-Compliance.Effective feedback and develop solutions by self and with manager.Any reasonable activity that may be required by the plant.RequirementsMin Requirements:Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Equivalent NQF6.Minimum of +/-5 years of experience or certification in each of the following:Computer LiterateInstrumentation, Hydraulics and PneumaticsElectrical and Mechanical experienceAll Maintenance Safety applications and experience in compliance (Legal)Management (Production/Operations Management experience will be advantageous)Knowledge of OHS Act will be advantageous.Preferable Skills, Knowledge And ExperienceKnowledge of TPM or other Maintenance systemsAutomation Systems and RoboticsKnowledge of Scada (Bonus)Project Management Experience (Bonus)Experience in Automated Manufacture EnvironmentKnowledge of Conveyers and Reticulation.Additional RequirementsRequired to act in the capacity of surrounding posts.Required to work overtime on short notice.Travel and stay overnight.Prepared to be placed on standby 24/7.Perform call out-activities.Participate in Development Programs.
