Maintenance Manager

Overseeing the day-to-day maintenance of the power plant by managing a team of maintenance technicians and other professionals who work together to ensure that the plant is running smoothly and safely.
Requirements:

Mechanical Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma
2-4 years' experience in a similar managerial position
5 years minimum experience in maintenance and engineering roles in an industrial/manufacturing environment
Sound knowledge of boilers, steam systems, power generation equipment, stock control and store management CMMS knowledge.
Sound knowledge of OHS Act
Sound knowledge and experience in Labour Legislation
General Machinery Regulations experience is an advantage.

Key Performance Outputs:

Primarily oversee all mechanical and electrical maintenance systems, processes, practices, and people to support the operational departmental actions.
Align with the operations plan to ensure plant optimization and efficiency, maintenance planning, and capital spares optimization.
To lead the site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and pro-active, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
Responsible for ensuring that the facility operates to its maximum efficiency and output.
