Job Purpose: The overall purpose of this position is to manage local warehouse activities, including processing of imported goods and export of finished goods. The job holder is in charge for multiple sites or one of significant size. Ensure customer service deliverable are met in terms of delivery, reliability, quality, cost efficiency and safety at workJob ResponsibilitiesPromotes and fosters a safe work environment Responsible for the SA Regional Distribution Center Manages local warehouse or Third Party Logistics Provider to ensures service KPIsAchieve corporate service and quality goals in most efficient way Analyzes warehouse analytics information, develops and executes plans to optimize warehouse costs based on historical and future needs/forecastingImplements logistics management techniques, including import/export management, total cost management, and duty/tariff management Develop lean strategy and monitor executionLead strategic projects Planning non-inventory requirementsEffective stake holder managementCommunication and escalation between divisions, sales company and RDC/ EDCResponsible for team department budgetsResponsibilities may include trade compliance and management of trade compliance teamEnsures Logistics Team is compliant to industry regulations/requirements as applicable for regional requirementsTalent development & succession planning Participate recruitment-process to employ competent personnel
