Maintenance Assistant At Cater Chain Food Services

Job ResponsibilitiesAssist artisans with maintenance work.Assist with general site, plant, and building maintenance.Perform minor repairs on machinery, change light bulbs, and fix leaking pipes.Erect scaffolding when necessary and if trained and appointed to do so.Perform welding and hot work tasks if trained and appointed to do so.Keep workstations and working areas neat and tidy at all times.Keep hand tools in good working condition and report any damaged hand tools.Ensure the safe usage of power tools and equipment and report any defects to the supervisor or management.Assist the company with any additional appointed duties in relation to health and safety.Assist the company in filling out necessary paperwork and taking necessary readings on equipment, such as water readings.Comply with lock-out procedures.Assist in moving any machinery and work in areas that may be at a relative height as well as confined spaces.Adhere to company health and safety rules and regulations.Adhere to company quality and food safety rules and regulations.Perform additional ad hoc duties such as lubrication of machines.Desired SkillsHand Tools TrainingPower Tools TrainingWorking at Heights TrainingConfined Space TrainingScaffolding Erection (if applicable)Welding and Hot Work (if applicable)Desired Work Experience2 to 5 years in FMCG2 to 5 years in Other Cleaning, Maintenance & RepairDesired Qualification LevelGrade 12 / MatricAbout The EmployerCater Chain Food Services
