Lodge Duty Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services: Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by supervising front-of-house operations, handling guest inquiries and concerns, and ensuring that our visitors have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
Staff Management: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of guides, rangers, and support staff. Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide guidance to ensure the smooth operation of the reserve.
Daily Operations: Coordinate and oversee daily game drives, guided tours, and other guest activities. Ensure that all activities adhere to safety standards and the principles of responsible tourism
Resource Management: Manage resources, including vehicles, equipment, and supplies, to ensure they are in good working condition and readily available for daily operations.
Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment for staff and guests by enforcing safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

Hospitality Management qualification or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within the hospitality or tourism industry.
Good Food and beverage knowledge
Strong leadership and communication skills.
First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
Ability to work in a dynamic and unpredictable environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
