Our client is seeking a dedicated and dynamic couple to fill the roles of Lodge Anchor and Full Trails Guide.
This unique opportunity is ideal for a pair with strong experience in hospitality and guiding, looking to make a significant impact at our premier bush lodge.
Lodge Anchor Responsibilities: As the Lodge Anchor, you will be a versatile backup for three key roles during leave cycles: Camp Manager, Reception, and Admin Manager.
Your duties will rotate every two weeks within a six-week cycle and will include: Reception Duties: Check-ins/check-outs, daily reception operations, arranging transfers and guest trips, and creating accurate guest invoices.
Camp Manager Duties: Hosting guests, managing housekeepers and butlers, overseeing room checks, room orientation, and bush banqueting.
Admin Manager Duties: Handling creditors, payroll administration, and using Res Request (experience preferred but not essential if familiar with other hotel management software).
Minimum Requirements for Lodge Anchor: Strong administrative skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent interpersonal skills for both guest and staff interactions.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in hospitality management, preferably in a bush lodge environment.
5-star hospitality experience is ideal.
Valid driver's license.
Full Trails Guide Responsibilities: As the Full Trails Guide, you will lead engaging and informative bush tours, ensuring an exceptional guest experience in wildlife and environmental education.
Minimum Requirements for Full Trails Guide: FGASA Level 2 and Full Trails Guide certification.
DEAT registered.
Valid First Aid and Advanced Rifle Handling certifications.
Strong interpersonal skills for guest and staff interactions.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in hospitality, with bush lodge experience preferred.
5-star hospitality experience is ideal.
Valid driver's license and PDP.
