JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY We are looking for a lab technician to assist on the setup of the new lab and research projects related to regenerative engineering in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).
Responsibilities: Assist on the purchase of the equipment and the setup of the labAssist on the development of the lab websitePerform the evaluation of in vitro cell responses to 3D-printed polymer scaffolds, including cell viability, proliferation, and migrationRequirements: Master degree in Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a field related closely to the research described aboveStrong oral and communication skillsPreferred candidate should have experience in mammalian cell culture, immunostaining, and histological analysisFLSA STATUS United States of America (Non-Exempt)
