Medical Receptionist, Bellville, Cape TownA General Surgeon, based in Bellville, Cape Town is seeking to recruit a Medical Receptionist to assist with Debt Collections for a very busy practice. Experience within a medical practice is a non-negotiable requirement. Surgical practice experience will be advantageous.Responsibilities & DutiesCapture remittance statements received from the medical aidsCapture patient payments and receiptingLiaise with the medical aids regarding non-payments and rejectionsAttend to outstanding accounts from medical aids and patientsEnsure a healthy debtors book and that the age analysis is below a certain percentage targetLiaise with the practice manager regarding outstanding debtsSend out patient statementsSend statements to insurance companies for payments for medical reportsNo billing of invoices is required, only debt collectingAssist senior receptionist as and when requiredRequirements & QualificationMatricVeriClaim software and general software knowledge is preferableMedical debtors experience is preferableExperience within a private medical practice is essentialSkills And AttributesAbility to work independently and unsupervisedStrong interpersonal and organisational skillsHardworkingAbility to work under pressure and prioritizeComputer literacy and high attention to detailWorking HoursMonday to Friday, 08h00 - 17h00AppointmentASAPOnly candidates who meet all the minimum requirements stipulated in the advert, will be considered.
