Junior Cost Accountant

Our client is looking for a Junior Cost Accountant to join their company in the Automotive Industry.Educational & Training Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Financial Management or equivalentExperience Required:Previous experience in the Finance environment will be advantageousSyspro & Advanced Excel knowledge essential5 years' experience within a manufacturing environmentJob Requirements & Responsibilities:Bill of materials:Creation of new stock codesMaterial master maintenanceUpdating of standard costMonth-end processing:Processing of production jobs on SysproProcessing of scrap on SysproProcessing of bulk tank usage (oil, gas, diesel, etc.
)Monthly stock takes:Month end investigation & reconciliation of warehouse variancesPosting of stock take variances on SysproAPDP:Calculation & preparation of quarterly declarations (Form C2 & SMD)Submission of declarations on BMAIS portalEUR1 declaration preparation & submissionSADC declaration preparation & submissionAIS (Automotive Incentive Scheme):Maintaining expense schedules for use in claim submissionRetention of documentation required for audit of AIS claims.Assist in claim preparation.Inherent Job Requirements:Tolerance for stress & the ability to work well under pressure.Ability to work independently & take own initiative.Honesty & integrityCustomer focusParticipation/collaboration with the ability to work as an integral teamGood communication skills (Verbal and Written).
