Tax Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant for an International Company in Port Elizabeth.Summary of the position:The ideal candidate will assist the department with tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with tax laws.
The Tax Accountant will play a critical role in assisting with tax returns, identifying tax-saving opportunities, and maintaining accurate financial records.
The ideal candidate should be a team player with a customer service focus, self-driven, capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines and swiftly resolve issues.Requirements:Honours in Accounting with ArticlesStrong accounting knowledge is requiredAdvanced Excel skillsAbility to read and comprehend financial statementsExceptional organizational skills are a mustStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suiteMust be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and meeting deadlinesSelf-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamResponsibilities:The role involves aiding in the prompt filing of tax returns.Assist in audit documentation and support, maintaining withholding tax rate tables, maintaining transfer pricing documentation, and maintaining the Company's tax records.Collaborate with finance and tax systems, conduct research on different taxability issues for various transaction types and locations, and aid with field activities related to tax law and compliance.Support transfer pricing policies, aid in transfer pricing calculations, assist in computing the income tax provision, and handle other assigned duties etc.
