Junior Cost Accountant - Howick

Responsibilities: Maintain and update cost accounting systems and procedures specific to manufacturing operations Analyse and allocate costs to various operations Conduct variance analysis to identify factors impacting production costs Analyse inventory variances and implement corrective measures to optimize resource utilization Monitor project costs and provide financial oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from planting to harvest Ensure all BOMs and costings relating to BOMs are maintained Work together with Sales team to report on sales of stock and sales channels Work together with Financial Manager to ensure Costing reports are accurate and on time Own the complete stock take process Assist the finance team with general finance functions such as creditors postings, retail recons, assistance with general ledger transactions and recons and any other reasonable request Requirements CIMA qualification is a prerequisite or B. Comm/equivalent Min 2 years of working experience in similar positions.
