Junior Accountant/Tax Practitioner

Overview: My client is looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Accountant/Tax Practitioner (Must be Registered as a Tax Practitioner) to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in tax and accounting, particularly in completing income tax returns, evaluating assessments, and managing various tax-related tasks. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and SARS consultants.

Qualifications and Experience: Experience: Minimum 1 year of working experience in a similar position within a tax and accounting environment is essential. Education: A degree in Accounting, Tax, or equivalent qualification compulsory. Certification: Registered tax practitioner – A MUST. Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Income Tax Act and Tax Administration Act. Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, client communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Language: Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (reading, writing and speaking).
