1. Manage and lead the IT Support service providers 2. Oversee the resolution of technical issues 3. Ensure the smooth operation of IT services 4. Develop and implement IT support policies and procedures 5. Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with industry standards 6. Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems 7. Prepare and present reports on IT support activities 8. Implement and manage IT support tools and software 9. Conduct regular performance reviews of IT support service providers 10. Handle escalated IT support issues 11. Plan and execute IT support projects. 12. Provide first-line support for laptops, video and web conferences, & file sharing solutions 13. IT front desk support 14. Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues 15. Set up and manage wireless networks, ensuring reliable connectivity 16. Diagnose and resolve network problems, monitor network performance 17. Create, modify, and delete user accounts in Active Directory 18. Plan and execute backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability 19. Train employees on IT systems and provide user manuals 20. Contribute to IT department knowledge management initiatives 21. Support for Syspro upgrade project, working with remote IT staff, including change 22. implementation and testing 23. Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives 24. Ensure seamless integration of IT systems across all departments 25. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends 26. Manage the ERP and other software packages including VIP Payroll System, Uniclox 27. Biometric Access Control System, Pastel etc. 1. Grade 12 2. Batchelor Of Commerce degree in IT 3. Experience working with an ERP system (Syspro will be an added advantage) 4. 5 years experience in a similar role (FMCG sector will an added advantage) 5. 5 years management experience 6. Strong working knowledge of IT support processes and practices 7. Experience with IT support tools and software 8. Have a valid drivers license and own transport 9. Be willing to work after hours in emergencies when required
