Investment Analyst

My client, an investment company is looking for an Investment Analyst specializing in infrastracture for a 4-month contract , starting as soon as possible Purpose of the jobTo provide portfolio administration and research and deal execution support. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of investment and asset management for infrastructure investments and will be responsible for researching, analysing and provision of relevant information under the supervision of the Investment team as mandated by the Chief investment Officer and Head of Portfolio: InfrastructureExperience progression required2 3 years post qualification experience in the financial services industry and exposure to infrastructure investing (minimum 2 years) will be an advantagePrior work experience could be in corporate finance (M&A), project finance or private equity / infrastructure (investment fund)Sound understanding of financial principlesExperience building and updating detailed project finance models from scratch preferredAnalytically minded with the ability and inclination to work accurately with financial detailQualification/s B.Com degree in Financial accounting, Economics, Math, or Stats related degrees and/or Bachelor of Business Science (BBusSc)Advanced knowledge of Microsoft excelTechnical or core knowledge / skill Required Maintaining in-house databases, preparing and maintaining infrastructure asset/investment financial models and providing specialist support to the infrastructure investment team.
