Main Responsibilities:Management of inventory levels and supply chain costs through the analysis of inventory movements and reporting on trends.Review demand forecasts in the system.Review stock control as per stocking policy.Maintenance and monitoring of centralized inventory.Analyze monthly stock reports by product line and by warehouse.Provide reports for overstocked and slow-moving stock.Surplus returns to Product Company for all product lines.Review calculations of SAC1 parts and implement actions to increase availability.Inventory reporting (Working Capital Meetings, Management Meetings, Supply Chain Review Meetings).Review pre-planning of stock for machine rebuilds.Item Master maintenance.Supply reports as requested by BLMs, Parts, and Service Managers.Review recommended spare parts list for all new and existing machines and order accordingly.Maintenance of stock requests by BLMs, Parts, and Service Managers.Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities.Mentor and train category and demand planners as required.Identify areas of improvement and recommend action plans.Propose and implement solutions to improve stock availability.Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.Work in collaboration with the global planning team to attain and maintain a 95% stocked parts availability.Educational and Experience Requirements:Grade 12.A minimum of 3 years' experience in an inventory/stock management role.A tertiary qualification in a supply chain field would be an added advantage.Skills:Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience using ERP software packages.Good overall understanding of demand processes, sales, marketing, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain.Good communication and presentation skills.Seniority LevelEntry levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesMining
