Job Title: Internal Audit Manager Insurance Industry Location: Woodstock, Cape Town (On-Site) (Permanent) Hire Resolve is looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our client's team in the insurance industry.
The Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing and leading the internal audit function within the organization, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities: 1.
Develop and maintain the annual internal audit plan, ensuring comprehensive coverage of key risk areas within the insurance industry.
2.
Lead and conduct internal audits of various business functions, including underwriting, claims, actuarial, and financial reporting processes.
3.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and processes, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
4.
Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans for management review.
5.
Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and track progress towards resolution.
6.
Collaborate with external auditors and regulators to support external audits and examinations.
7.
Provide training and guidance to audit staff on best practices and industry standards.
8.
Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to internal audit within the insurance industry.
