As a Internal Audit Manager you will help strengthen the Internal Audit team. Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit, you will provide independent assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of the company's internal controls to mitigate evolving risks. Duties:
Apply the internal audit framework, methodology, and charter.
Conduct risk assessments and plan internal audit assignments.
Document process flows, perform control walkthroughs, and identify key risks and controls.
Develop testing strategies, analyse populations, and select samples.
Execute control effectiveness testing and data analytics.
Compile findings and action plans, draft audit reports, and engage with management.
Build relationships with management and executives, maintaining professional independence.
Conduct follow-up audits and uphold the company's values.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
Matric (Grade 12)
BCom Accounting or Internal Audit
BCom Honours Accounting or Internal Audit
CIA / CA(SA)
Experience:
5 / 8 years Internal Audit experience
Big 4 articles
Financial Services is required.
Proficient in internal control methodologies and techniques.
Knowledge of data analytics testing is advantageous.
