Hospitality Manager | Ngala Game Reserve | Luxury Lodge Group We are currently looking for an experienced HOSPITALITY MANAGER to join the team of a luxury lodge located in Ngala Private Game Reserve.
KEY OUTPUTS: Prepare welcome and departure notes for guests Check guests in during the day and manage dietaries, or any other special requests Meet all guests, check-ins, check outs, hosting guests and site-inspections Ensuring all organizational requirements around delivering a guest experience at the Lodge is planned for and executed daily Assist in training and developing staff as necessary Work closely with the Senior Management team to ensure a seamless daily operation. Ensure brand standards are maintained in all areas that make up the guest experience Represent the Company's brand in appearance and behavior Create an environment where the company's culture & DNA is fostered Innovate new ideas and ways to enhance the brand Guest Delight - Plan, action, and create guest delights both in the bush and at the lodge Check set ups for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Manage the butler's department including shifts, duties, and addressing issues Ensure the main area is tidy and styled to the BOPs Host guests at mealtimes and ensure smooth service from the kitchen and butler Collaborate with butlers and Lodge managers to maintain a high service standard Assist Operations Manager and Lodge Manager with stock takes and orders Handle general administrative tasks, including emails, staff rostering, and daily allocations Assist with Stock Control and correct stock issuance Lead Large Group Bookings Maintain open communication with all departments Support Operations Manager & Lodge Manager during leave periods Attend to day sheet information like dietary and medical requirements for guests Demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to learn and grow, and a training mentality Be open to feedback and have good interpersonal skills KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED (QUALIFICATIONS OR TRAINING PROGRAMS): Valid unendorsed SA driver's license essential MS Office knowledge essential PANstrat Knowledge beneficial SKILLS REQUIRED: Communication skills with guests and staff Lateral thinking ability Flexibility and initiative Professional, courteous, and hospitable demeanor Ability to cope under pressure and lead effectively Organizational and leadership abilities Integrity, proactive nature, and career ambitions Passion for guest satisfaction and problem-solving skills Team player with diligence and self-motivation Willingness to share information and inspire others Experience in Wine & Food PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3 to 5 years' experience in a 5-star operation in a camp manager/Duty manager role Service industry experience with guests and staff Managerial experience Start: ASAP
