Job Description

The HSE Officer in Training assists with implementation of the HSE Management System and helps to maintain HSE compliance. He/she assists with site inspections and monitors physical on-site sub-contractor compliance. The HSE Officer in Training assists with legislative and system compliance, identifies and mitigates risk and contributes to maintaining ISO certification.

Academic Qualification
Grade 12
Safety Officer Short Course

Years of Experience
2 Years +

Technical Experience
Professional Registration and Statutory appointment - SACPCMP registration as a CanCHSO

Key Relationships
Project based staff
Voluntary associations: MBA, ACHASM, SAIOSH

Role specific Demands
Ability to work under pressure and take instruction
Own transport essential
