Head of HR (POS24345) AREA: South Africa SALARY: Market Related Job Description: In this role you will be responsible for executing the entire HR Strategy (ca. 500 employees), including an oversight to the Site from setting the agenda and people priorities to ensuring operational execution across various areas Requirements: Educated to degree level in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related combination of education & experience providing the required knowledge, skills & abilities. End to end HR experience, with a proven track record of building and delivering an HR agenda that fuels business performance and organisation development. Board reporting and SEC experience is required in this role as this role have oversight on full HR Governance end to end and guide and provide sound employee relations advise as when needed Previous experience in multinational companies in a matrix organisational structure 10 years of HR experience, with at least 2-3 in a senior HR Leadership role overseeing site operations alongside with commercial Partnering with site HR to deliver on the overall SA employee relations strategy and proven experience with labour relation matters and Union stakeholder management Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on mentoring and developing HR staff Experience of driving HR Projects, change management initiatives, culture development, & engagement programmes. Experience with and strong understanding of key HR processes (e.g. recruitment, performance management, talent management etc). Experience working with data to create insight and diagnose future talent/culture risks and opportunities. Experience working with and influencing multiple senior stakeholders within the business and in a matrix HR function. Transformation experience within the SA context and collaboration with key stakeholders to deliver on the companys BBBEE agenda Experience with Skills development strategy, working with various stakeholders to comply annual plans, understanding of the various SETAs and the legal compliance requirements. Experience with South Africa labour laws; writing Local HR Policies and being relevant and updated with local legislation; and conducting the activities as per the local requirement.
