Head Of Accounting

Reporting to the Financial Manager, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and improving the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting process of Lotus SA Manufacturing.

Responsibilities: Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to the Financial Manager while recommending further courses of action.Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.Investigate the variances versus budget and versus previous year.Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.Continuously improve and implement reporting standards (for example, the use of KPI's, efficiency in reporting).Create monthly reports.Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.Provide monthly updates on financial system to all assets and liabilities held in foreign currency.Ensure that budgets are consistent/in line with actual sale/cost development, market conditions, strategic and operational actions planned.Ensure asset register is up to date, with correct allocations, projects, and depreciation. Minimum Requirements: A Tertiary Financial qualification (CA/SAICA/CIMA).5 years proven working experience as a financial accountant.Efficient: performing and functioning effectively with the least waste of time and effort.Excellent administrative, planning, coordinating, and organizing skills.Leadership skills.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Communication skills, both verbal and written.Computer literate.Interpersonal skills.
