Candidate Requirements:Must have FGASA NQF4 Trails GuideProfessional Field Guide and FGASA Mentor (Advantage)Rifle Proficiency and ARHFirst Aid Level 2Drivers License and PrDPPrevious experience as Assistant Head Guide or Head Guide.Sound knowledge of planning, budgeting and departmental administration.Sound knowledge on the applicable / relevant property and company procedures for the department, according to the standards of FGASA and the lodges Guiding culture.Excellent attention to detail, excellent hygiene principles.Guest focus philosophyExcellent communication skills (written and verbal), practicing honest communicationTeam player with positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional controlExcellent time management and self-discipline, interpersonal & problem-solving skills.Proactive, use initiative and creative flair when requiredCommitted and loyal, adaptable, and flexibleMust work accurately under pressureLeadership skills with passion for development and skills transferDuties:Oversee and train all Field Guide functions according to the FGASA standardsEnsure all allocations to be done for all activitiesYou will be one of two registered responsible persons for the company firearmsOversee all workshop and vehicle maintenanceChair and record all meetingsAssist in social media platformsIncident management in the event of emergency or evacuationTraining, development and mentorship of new/ young guidesConservation on the reserveGeneral service & guest care
