Minimum requirements for the role:A tertiary qualification is preferred for the role.Strong marketing and strategic sales management experience as well as an understanding and being able to relate to the speciality masterbatch, polymer additives engineering plastics and or related manufacturing markets is preferred for the role.Previous experience having worked in a GM or a senior sales management role within the speciality polymers / engineering plastic raw materials manufacturing industry is preferred for the role.The successful candidate must be driven and strategic in terms of growing the market share being able to expand the business internationally and locally.The successful candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and have a high degree of professionalism and conduct at all times.Strong financial management and business strategy skills are essential.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.A proactive, motivated leader with a genuine passion for the industry and a focus on driving results.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Managing and overseeing all sales and operations of the business in terms of speciality masterbatch, polymer additives and engineering plastic raw materials that are manufactured by the company. Strategically managing and overseeing sales and operations budgets and targets, implementing and regularly reviewing improvements to business processes.Managing and overseeing all budgeting and costs in alignment with budget targets.Managing and driving maximum operational efficiency of the sales and operations teams to drive performance.Ensuring that optimum manufacturing processes, sales and commercial structures are in place and managed efficiently.Integrating with other functional areas within the business to drive optimum performance for the engineering plastics, masterbatch and PVC and related markets.Managing, driving and executing sales, manufacturing operations and business objectives and strategies of the company.Managing and overseeing market share according to the companys strategy.Managing and overseeing new market requirements and business opportunities.Managing and overseeing all contracts and agreements with customers, distributors and suppliers in alignment with the companys strategy.Leading, mentoring, and developing a diverse team, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
