The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing projects, developing strategic plans, and leading a team. The role involves working closely with clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.QualificationsMinimum Honours/Post Grad in Business Management, or related fieldMinimum 4 - 6 years Management experienceStrategic Planning, and Team Leadership skillsExperience in Energy Solutions, Solar PV, or related industriesStrong financial acumen (i.e. budgets, project recon) and business development capabilitiesExperience working with multinational corporations and energy consulting servicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOwn vehicle and valid driver's licence essentialKey ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee daily operations across various departments within the company Manage the relationship between Operations and Finance (budgets, and forecasts)Setting and achieving key performance targets for revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency Improving internal processes and systems to enhance quality, reduce costs, and streamline operations Manage Direct Wage and OverheadsChampioning a company culture that reflects the organization's values and encourages innovation and excellenceStaff turnover analysis and comparative departmental costing, proper allocation of staff to positions and structureSuccession Planning alongside HR and Technical DirectorEnsuring that performance appraisals alongside HR and Technical Director of all subordinate employees are conducted, and corrective action implemented where necessaryEnsuring that acceptable standards of behaviour at work are maintained by all subordinate employees, as required by INFOLED company policies and proceduresLeading and motivating staff to meet performance targetsIdentifying new business opportunities in the region's sphere of operations and maintenance departments (SLA), as well as in terms of growth of business with new and existing customersManage SLA's and terms of sales as it evolves ensuring it aligns with company business model.Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliersSteering the company through market changes and industry trendsEnsuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements to uphold the company's reputation and operational integrity.Drive health and safety awareness through communication, enforcement of guidelines and principles, reporting and training to achieve zero harm within our businessMonitor and reduce the number of health and safety incidentsOversee investigations into incidents and related matters, both to address non-compliance and to reinforce awareness alongside HR and Technical DirectorParticipate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and monitoring of the safety plans and files for company and client sitesHandling crisis management and implementing contingency plans to safeguard business continuity
