General Manager

Minimum requirements for the role:Must have a relevant tertiary qualificationExperience in hospitality, especially on a farm with diverse income streams, is highly beneficialPractical and handyman skills is advantageousMust be organically and eco-friendly inclinedPassion to grow the farm and implement ideasMust be proficient in English and understand or speak AfrikaansPeople management and management experience, as well as strong administration and time management skills, are essentialThe successful candidate will be responsible for:Coordinating with suppliers for maintenance.Liaising with the owner in Germany for monthly budget planning.Managing the staff (team of 7) in human resources.Handling general administration.Planning and delegating tasks to the team and then following up.Reading meters for water and electricity usage.Controlling stock.Gaining construction experience by completing apartments and glamping tents.Overseeing the hospitality manager for guest accommodation.Managing projects and implementing ideas.Managing contractors.Running and overseeing livestock, farming tunnels, the equestrian business, stables, hospitality, and the hotel.Maintaining guest relations and ensuring customer satisfaction.Please note that subsequent to the screening and shortlisting process, all further communication will be entered into, only with the shortlisted candidates
