General Manager – Hotel

Responsible and accountable for complete Guest satisfaction of allguests visiting the Hotel- Responsible and accountable for operational quality and standardsof all operational departments of the Hotel- Oversee the operations functions of the hotel- Implement policies and procedures, as agreed with the OperationsManager of Extraordinary Resorts- Ensure full compliance to hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies,procedures, and service standards- Lead all key property issues including capital projects, customerservice and refurbishment- Hold all daily briefings and monthly staff meetings- Handling complaints, and oversee the service recovery procedures- Involved with finance team in compiling Operating Budget,Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget- Manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue andguest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded- Deliver hotel budget goals and set other short- and long-termstrategic goals for the property- To achieve optimum financial results and improve on set budget- Developing service improvement actions, carry out costs savings- Strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to reactwith impactful strategies- Closely monitor the hotels business reports on a daily basis andtake decisions accordingly- Ensure that monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, Food &Beverage, Admin & General, are on target and accurate.- Maximizing room yield through innovative sales practices and yieldmanagement- Prepare monthly financial reporting for the owners and stakeholders- Assisting in the procurement of operating supplies and equipment,and contracting with third-party vendors for essential equipmentand services- Act as a decision maker in hiring of key staff together with seniormanagement- Achieve good communication and to interpret and enforce agreedmanagement decisions, policies and attitudes to achieveExtraordinary objectives- Instil a culture of learning and assist in creating a company for staffand customers.- Coordination with HOD's for the execution of all activities andfunctions- Overseeing and managing all departments and working closelywith department heads on a daily basis- Corporate client handling and take part in new client acquisitionalong with the sales team whenever required- Responsible for statutory compliances, Occupational Health &Safety, fire regulations and other legal requirements- Chairman and facilitator of EE actions- Well-rounded knowledge of Industrial relations in order to chairand initiate hearings- Planning and overseeing of preventative maintenance
